Are there any electric wiring overheating problems associated with FoamLok™?

No. FoamLok™ has tested negative for these concerns; however, it is a violation of Building Code for most insulation products to be installed over knob and tube wiring systems (Knob and tube wasn’t used in homes built after about 1940).

Is the insulation corrosive to metals?

No. It is non-corrosive, neutral — neither acidic nor alkaline — and ideal for metal construction.
